  The nightly job to refresh the data cleared out the data. Resolution was achieved by an immediate workaround: pointing the 30-day index alias to the 60-day index to restore lane search results with negligible user impact. Data was restored and backfilled, and by 5/14 all lane search indexes were serving complete data, with a post-incident review and a JIRA ticket opened for a longer-term fix.

  The nightly job to refresh the data cleared out the data. Mitigation actions included an immediate workaround: point the 30-day index to the 60-day index to restore lane search results, with data shape identical and negligible user impact. The incident was escalated to the EDS data-source team with plans to create a JIRA ticket and conduct a post-incident review, while the team remains engaged as the driver to ensure a longer-term fix.
